It was a pretty productive week in Morndale. Characters/alts are finally in, a brand‑new Iron Man game mode has landed, the Bank system is live, and a handful of UI and backend improvements made it across the finish line. I didn’t get everything out that I wanted to this week, but momentum is strong and it's full steam ahead.
Looking toward next week, I’ll be focusing on cleaning up some lingering shop issues, tightening up a few UI/AoL elements, and doing a good chunk of planning for the next several weeks of updates.
New Feature: The Shrine
The Shrine has been added! Players can now pool their resources by offering gold or tokens to activate a 1‑hour global boost that applies to everyone. It’s a fun way for the community to work together and keep the world feeling alive.
General Updates & Fixes
- Leaderboards now update every 3 hours.
- Guild creation UI has been fixed and cleaned up.
- Auction House notifications now alert you when your items sell.
Multiple Characters Per Account
- You can now create and manage multiple characters on a single account.
- Tokens are shared/account bound across all characters.
New Game Mode: Iron Man Mode
For players who want a challenge, Iron Man Mode is now available. This mode is designed to be fully self‑sufficient and comes with strict limitations:
- No trading with other players.
- No Auction House access.
- No access to the Account Bank.
- This choice is permanent and cannot be undone.
Additional Iron Man updates:
- Character profiles now display Iron Man status.
- Iron Man characters show a unique icon on the character page.
- Character slots now include a locked Iron Man slot.
- Leaderboards now include an Iron Man filter.
The Bank
The Bank system is now live! The bank is global/shared between all characters on your account - with the exception of Iron Man characters, who must remain fully self‑reliant.
