Devblog 21 - Exploration System Prep & Lots of Fixes

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a great week. I’ve been juggling a ton between work, the house, and development, but progress is moving strong. Most of my time this week has gone into the admin panel and prepping the new Exploration System, which will replace the current monster page. If everything goes smoothly, I’m hoping to roll it out next week.

Alongside that, I’ve been pushing out as many updates as I can. Chests are getting expanded soon, and I’ll be adding more of them to monsters and events once drop rates feel right. Lots of QoL and backend fixes landed this week too.

Updates & Changes

  • Shopkeeper Quest Tab now displays required gather/craft items and turn‑in items
  • Quest Log now properly shows objectives and required turn‑ins
  • Chests can now drop randomly while skilling (still tuning rates)
  • Added Wooden Chests - more chest types coming once rates are dialed in
  • Fixed shopkeeper quest list being cut off
  • Added the Feathered Hat (+15% Gathering & Farming speed)
  • Added the Farmer Overalls (+15% Gathering & Farming speed)
  • 27 new Fishing Quests added
  • 3 new NPCs added
  • Guild Overview: Clicking a guild member now opens their profile
  • Fixed inventory bug with items showing 0 quantity
  • Rolled out a fix correcting everyone’s inventory quantities
  • Added 27 new bronze-tier icons
  • Fixed account‑bound shop quest unlocks
  • Hub/Home redesign released:
    • Top 10 leaderboards (Total XP, Total Level, Combat Level)
    • Membership panel added
    • Daily login + vote panel added
  • Fixed new guilds being unable to access the guild bank
  • Fixed membership not applying after payment
  • Increased max shop purchase amount from 999 → 9999

What’s Coming Next

The big focus is still the Exploration System. Once that’s out, I’ll be expanding chest types, tuning drop rates, and continuing to flesh out events and monster interactions. I’m excited to see how everyone breaks it during the first week - that’s half the fun.
