Hey everyoneāburning the midnight oil again and making solid progress on the dungeons update. Today I pushed over 500 new items into the build, along with a handful of new skills thatāll open up some exciting crafting and progression paths. Hereās the rundown:
š”ļø Armor Smithing
With dungeons on the horizon, we need ways to forge protection. The current list is just the beginningāmore armors are coming, so donāt treat it as exhaustive.
āļø Weapon Smithing
Same deal here. Dungeon delving demands sharp tools. The listed weapons are a starting pointāexpect more to surface soon.
𦓠Bone Carving
Animal bones finally have a purpose. Youāll be able to carve them into useful (and maybe eerie?) items. Itās a small touch, but adds a lot of flavor.
⨠Enchanting
The skill is live, though the items are still in progress. The plan: players will collect essences from dungeon monsters and use them to enchant gear with buffs. Think elemental boosts, stat tweaks, and more.
š Leatherworking & Tailoring
Leatherworking lays the foundation for leather armor and gear. Tailoring handles cloth-based itemsārobes, outfits, and magical attire.
š§ Tanning & Weaving
Tanning lets you prep hides using salts and oils for leatherworking. Weaving turns plant fibers into threads for tailoring. These are the backbone of your gear pipeline.
š² Woodworking
Craft bows and staffsāessential for ranged and magical builds.
š Trapping
This oneās a game-changer. I overhauled the gathering system to support multiple item drops, variable chances, and level requirements. For example: hunting a rabbit now shows āRabbitā as the gatherable item, but the actual loot comes from a separate loot table. This opens the door to random drops, rare finds, and item conversions. Iām hyped to expand this across the game.
š§Ŗ Alchemy & Cooking
Both skills got a recipe boost to match the new items. Youāll find a bunch of new crafting resources in the Alchemy Table. If you spot anything missing, ping meāIām still tracking down a few stragglers.
š¼ļø Crafting Visuals & Recipe Fixes
Iām rolling out the images and required items for crafting. Some recipes got doubled or didnāt transfer properly, but Iām working on a fix thatāll make managing items and recipes way smoother.
